Industry-Embedded Program in Electronics (VLSI Specialization)
The Industry Enhancement Program (IEP) is a specialized, industry-oriented training initiative designed exclusively for B.Tech. VLSI students. The program bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world semiconductor industry requirements by providing hands-on exposure to the complete VLSI design and verification flow.
IEP emphasizes practical implementation, covering RTL-to-GDSII flow, Physical Design, Static Timing Analysis, DFT concepts, and industry-standard EDA tools. In addition, the program incorporates key aspects of VLSI Verification, including System Verilog fundamentals, functional verification methodologies, testbench development, debugging strategies, and exposure to industry-standard verification flows.
Students gain project-based experience, adopt industry best practices, and work on real-time design and verification scenarios to build strong technical foundations aligned with current semiconductor industry standards.
